Call from Biden to Netanyahu for an agreement for Gaza

According to Israeli media, the government is discussing the possibility of issuing an international arrest warrant for three names, including Netanyahu. In the news of Channel 13 broadcasting in Israel, it was stated that “a secret meeting was held in the National Security Council regarding the possibility of issuing international arrest warrants against high-level officials in Israel in the coming days.”

“THERE IS POSSIBILITY”

The news said, “According to information obtained by senior officials in Israel, there is a possibility that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague will issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, Gallant and Halevi.”

During the meeting, it was noted that Israel approved a series of “immediate measures” in case the ICJ issues an international arrest warrant, including “launching a political campaign at the international level against the ICJ’s decision.”

NETANYAHU WILL MEET WITH HIS REPORTERS

The news reported that Netanyahu will meet with his counterparts from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Austria to prevent the ICJ’s possible decision.

In this context, it was noted that Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and Israel’s Ambassador to Washington Mike Herzog will hold contacts with the US Congress and US President Joe Biden’s administration.

“IT BROUGHT TO MIND THE MEASURES APPLIED TO PUTIN”

In the news, it was stated that unnamed senior Israeli officials said that if the ICJ takes the decision in question, “it brings to mind the measures taken against Russia and President Vladimir Putin” due to the Ukraine war.

He stated that Israeli officials expect international arrest warrants to be issued “about policy makers” and not about low-level soldiers.

The news noted that it was decided that the Political and Security Council of Ministers would meet tomorrow to discuss the possible decision of the ICJ.
