Information that is covered by strong confidentiality has been in a digital folder shared with unauthorized persons. Kristinehamn municipality has now reported itself to the Swedish Health and Care Inspectorate (Ivo), reports SVT Nyheter Värmland.
It is the committee for work, skills and welfare that made the report according to lex Sarah. These are case lists and lists of all placed children in the municipality.
The information was stored in a digital room that was shared with all employees within the municipality. The incident is said to have taken place in mid-May.
The board has made a report of a significant risk of a serious misconduct.
According to the documents, it is unclear whether any consequences have arisen as a result of the identities of the children concerned being shared and whether classified information has been disclosed.
