Second explosion in a year in KLT’s buses: “Worrying”

All 50 of the minibuses of the Fiat Ducato brand, which KLT hires from several transport companies to run service trips, have been taken out of service after yesterday’s accident and must be inspected again.

The last time it happened, in May last year, and even then in a parked minibus, investigations were carried out on all minibuses of the same model afterwards. It was then established that several of the buses had worn gas tanks.

40 gas tanks were replaced

About 50 cars were checked, with five gas tanks in each car, and the result was that 40 tanks were replaced.

During Monday, travelers were asked not to book new travel service trips that are not urgent, and the request will also apply on Tuesday, according to Mattias Ask.
