In May, biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson became a father for the first time. Together with his partner Linnéa, he has a daughter Elsa.
Now the family has taken a new big step in family life, which Samuelsson shared on Instagram.
During the Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea in 2018, he became “Silver-Sebbe” with the entire Swedish people. Sebastian Samuelsson27, took a silver in the pursuit start, which was surprising as he was still considered a junior. A few days later he was also part of the Swedish relay team that shocked everyone and won gold.
The daughter arrived last spring
Since then, Samuelsson has been a big name in the World Cup context. He has taken 14 individual podiums and 14 as a team when it comes to the Biathlon World Cup. In addition, he has eleven WC medals, in addition to his two Olympic medals.
In connection with the WC in the Czech Nové Město last winter, the 27-year-old brought the happy news that he and his girlfriend Linnéa Karlsson would become parents for the first time. In May, their daughter was born Elsa.
– I think there are both positives and … other things that are more challenges. But I think it will give a lot of energy, Samuelsson told TT before the daughter arrived.
