Antti Raanta, who was called back to the NHL team from the AHL, played full minutes with Carolina’s goal as the Hurricanes beat Montreal 5–3.

Carolina Hurricanes’ Finnish forward Sebastian Aho netted four assists as Carolina downed the Montreal Canadiens 5-3 in NHL hockey.

Aho became the first player in club history to score four points on consecutive days. In yesterday’s game against Nashville, the Finnish pitching machine registered 1+3 power points and reached his 500th power point in the regular season.

– I don’t even know what my stats are, but today I felt good, Aho said after the match.

After the match, the Finnish star thanked his friends in the first chain Andrei Svetshnikov and Teuvo Teräväi.

– I just try to do my job every night. Of course, I try to reach four points in every game, but that doesn’t always happen. I think me, Svech and Turbo have been playing pretty well, they’ve helped me a lot, Aho said.

Svechnikov scored the third hat-trick of his career in the match.

During the last nine matches, Aho has scored the highest points of 6+11=17.

Invited back from the AHL farm league to the goal of Carolina’s NHL team Antti Raanta made 18 saves in the match.

The head coach Rod Brind’Amour was satisfied with the Finnish keeper’s actions.

– He didn’t have a lot of work, but it was great to have him back, and hopefully make him feel positive about how things went, the head coach said.

Raanta beat Carolina last time with a goal on November 22.

Carolina is fourth in the Eastern Conference.
