Sebastian Aho and the Finnish goalkeepers were in good shape in the night’s NHL round. Mikael Granlund was involved in initiating Nashville’s decisive goal.

Transferred from Minnesota to the San Jose Sharks last season Kaapo Kähkönen kept his first clean sheet for his current club as San Jose beat Montreal 4–0. The 26-year-old Finnish guard faced the puck a record 28 times. The clean sheet was Kähkönen’s third in his career.

San Jose is second to last in the Pacific Division.

Also a year older than Kähkö Juuse Saros was in tune between the goalposts. Saros, who took his eighth win of the season, made 34 saves when the country team defeated the Anaheim Ducks in overtime with a score of 2–1.

Nashville Mikael Granlund was initializing a swiss pack Roman Josin the deciding goal. Granlund has scored two goals and 16 points in 21 matches.

Sebastian Aho excelled as a passer when the Carolina Hurricanes, represented by the Finnish forward, defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in the away bowl after overtime with goals 3–2. Aho was starting by Martin Necas and Andrei Svetshnikov hits. The defender scored the winning goal Brett Pesce.

Aho, who plays as Carolina’s number one center, has scored 9+16 in 23 games this season.
