Sebastian Aho’s goal streak is already five matches long.

Sebastian Aho was again in a key role as Carolina took its sixth consecutive victory in the hockey NHL. Aho, who beat the Los Angeles Kings 5–4, scored the winning goal in overtime.

After two sets, Carolina was in a 1-4 loss position, but in the final set, they showed a handsome performance. Teuvo Teräväinen shot in 52.31 with the red shirts level with his elegant superior hit. The goal was the 28-year-old Finnish striker’s fifth of the season.

– It was a great third set. When you go into the third set from a 1-4 deficit, you haven’t played very well. We decided to fight and it paid off, Carolina head coach Rod Brind’Amour stated on the NHL website.

The Sebastian Aho show was seen in overtime. After half a minute of overtime, Aho tried to solve it with the old-fashioned way.

A couple of minutes later, an even more spectacular individual performance was seen from the Finnish center. Aho took off from the Carolina area and passed the Kings pack Sean Durzin. Keeper Pheonix Copley however, stretched to prevent the parade.

However, the third company said the truth. Carolina gained the upper hand and Aho tapped in a fiery kick. Four of the previous six wins have come in overtime.

– It’s all about self-confidence and hard work. We didn’t have much superiority today, but when we got the chance, we were ready, Teräväinen commented.

Aho has scored a total of eight overtime goals. Because he is at the pinnacle of the club history of Carolina and its predecessor Hartford Whalers.

Aho, who got into a wild scoring streak, stretched his scoring streak to five matches already. In the last ten games, he has scored as many goals and four assists. He is currently on pace for 37 goals and 78 points. Aho’s goal record in one season is 38.

Carolina leads the division by six points over the New Jersey Devils. In the Western Conference, the team is in second place after the Boston Bruins.

The Columbus Blue Jackets’ troubles continued when they lost to the Washington Capitals 4-3 after overtime. Out of their last nine games, Columbus has managed to win only two. Patrick Laine got an assist on his team’s opening goal.

In the meeting between the Canadian teams, the Ottawa Senators won the longer game against the Montreal Canadiens with goals of 5–4.
