Earlier this summer, when 10-year-old Sebastian went inline skating down the yard, he was attacked by a dog, which bit and tore him in the face.
The wound on the cheek was so deep that mother Angelina and Sebastian had to go to the emergency room – the dog owner deviated.
– She disappeared from the scene immediately when she saw that the dog had attacked Sebastian. I think it’s terrible, it’s very irresponsible, says Angelina Wieclawska.
Last year, nearly 4,000 people sought care after being attacked by dogs. The highest number in 14 years, according to figures from the National Board of Health and Welfare’s patient register as DN have taken part in.
