Erik “Gronk” Range became known with Let’s Plays on YouTube and is now one of the largest streamers in German Twitch. In a current stream, he showed his civil command center, which can compete with many a spaceship.

What kind of setup has Gronkh? In the stream of March 23, 2025, Gronkh mentioned in a way that he was surrounded by 8 screens in his “command center”. According to the streamer, he sows on board the Enterprise. However, the whole thing makes sense.

Gronkh explains what role each of his 8 monitors fulfills in streaming

What is it all about? In fact, each of the screens fulfills a very specific function at Gronkh. 3 monitors are reserved for the stream alone:

  • Gronkh has the main screen in front of him, on which he gambles or videos
  • The chat, mod chat and alerts run on the right of this
  • There is a preview screen above the main monitor where Gronkh can watch what its viewers are seeing
  • The Broadcasting software OBS has its own screen on the left of the main monitor
  • There is a rack in the corner, which includes 2 small screens for the recording of Let’s Plays
  • To the left of Gronkh is the cut PC in the form of a MacBook that is connected to another large screen
  • You can see the streaming setup in all its splendor here:

What else does the streamer need? Gronkh has 2 keyboards and 3 stream decks lined up. The audio rack with a mixer and 2 PCs is located under the desk. The new rack is above the desk, but it is not yet fully furnished. Here, when it comes to Gronkh, the streaming PC should be installed at some point.

The whole thing is adorned by countless beverage cans, a remains of the last streaming marathon and a kitchen roll to wipe the spilled cola. You can find a recording of the stream with the explanation of Gronkh on YouTube.

Gronkh cannot say exactly how much the fun cost – that has accumulated over the years. But at least: he also does it professionally.

As Gronkh emphasizes, the streaming setup is still quite “wild west” at the moment. After moving in, he only built a table and invited the whole stuff to it so that he could work. The streaming room is to be completely expanded to a studio-maybe he can get tips from Twitch colleague Montanblack: Montana brackets are set up by a noble streaming setup for Twitch-spectators complain about lousy cable management
