Season Pass content revealed

Those who are used to reading us know that it is with great impatience that we await The Callisto Protocol, for two reasons. The first is that it is a survival horror, a genre oh so much appreciated within the editorial staff. The second is that this new license is due to Glen Schofield, the creator of Dead Space. In short, even if its late release (December 2) does not allow it to be among the nominees for the Game Awards 2022 (which, we remind you, will take place on December 8), there is no doubt that it will collect some prizes during the 2023 edition.

In the meantime, we draw your attention to the Season Pass, the content of which was not yet known. It is now done thanks to Steam where the program of festivities has just been unveiled. Thus, we learn that sesame will include the Outer Way armor in reference to the rebel group fighting against the United Jupiter Company. There will also be a “Contagion” bundle in which we can find an extremely difficult mode that greatly reduces the number of ammunition and items intended to heal our wounds, and even comes with a permadeath. This bundle will also contain 13 new death animations and the Watchtower Skin Collection.

In addition, the Season Pass will give access to the Riot bundle which will ask the player to face waves of Biophages in an eponymous mode. Earning credits will allow you to upgrade weapons, or even design new ones. So that there is no jealousy, the monsters will be entitled to 12 additional death animations, the pack also containing theEngineer Skin Collection. Finally – and most importantly – the Season Pass will include a scripted expansion that will shed light on terrifying secrets.

In the past, developers at Strinking Distance Studios have said they want to release DLC for the year following the release of The Callisto Protocol. For the record, the game is planned for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
