Things aren’t easy for The Rookie fans on Netflix at the moment. While the crime series with Nathan Fillion became an absolute hit there, seasons 5, 6 and 7 are still a long time coming from the streamer with the big red N.
After season 6 started on Disney+ in December, it will now also be added to the program by another provider, which is again not called Netflix. The good thing about it, however, is that you will all follow there completely free get to see.

Before the 6th season of The Rookie comes to Netflix, it will be broadcast on free TV on ZDFneo. On February 27, 2025 at 8:15 p.m it starts with the first episode. Immediately afterwards, the episodes will also be available for free streaming in the ZDF media library.
ZDFneo added the 5th rookie season to its program last year and was able to record incredible numbers. On June 27, 2024, 570,000 people tuned in to the crime hit with Nathan Fillion. Particularly among the young target group of 14-49 year olds, the market share was surprisingly high at 4.6 and 5.5 percent. No wonder that ZDFneo has also secured the new episodes for the free TV premiere.

John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) has long since left his rookie days behind in Season 6 and now has a rookie of his own under his wing in Celina. However, in the Season 5 finale, Celina was paired with Aaron Victim of a brutal attack. The 6th season takes a jump in time of several weeks, which brings the two back to the police force.
