After the start date of Rick and Morty season 6 was revealed a few days ago, there is finally a comprehensive insight into the new episodes of the crazy animated series. Once again, the eponymous duo plunges in wild adventures between space and time. It will be exciting and chaotic.
The trailer again promises numerous references and quotes. In particular, the action classic Die Hard starring Bruce Willis seems to have inspired the creative minds behind Rick and Morty Season 6 when designing the new episodes. Also wait beyond that References to film history.
In addition to the main series, an anime spin-off of Rick and Morty is currently in development. This is produced by Takashi Sano, who is no stranger to the franchise. He is behind the celebrated short films Rick and Morty vs Genocider and Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil).
When does Rick and Morty season 6 start?
Rick and Morty season 6 premieres September 4, 2022 on Adult Swim in the US. In Germany we don’t have to wait much longer. Already at September 7, 2022 Warner TV brings the new episodes to Germany, but first in the original version. The German synchro will follow on October 17, 2022.
