Big nerfs are coming up for the dungeons in World of Warcraft. We reveal what is changing and will soon make “M+” more pleasant.
The fourth and final version of Shadowlands is currently running in World of Warcraft. As a special feature, the Blizzard developers have brought old dungeons up to date so that they work with the system of mythical keystones. But there are some problems, so now big changes are pending. 4 of the 8 dungeons will be nerfed drastically.
What is the problem? Actually, all dungeons in a season in World of Warcraft should have about the same level of difficulty. While there are sometimes slight variances depending on current affixes, overall a Mechagon: Workshop +10 should be about as difficult to complete as a Lower Karazhan +10 – and that’s exactly what wasn’t the case until now .
The Karazhan Keystones in particular have become so unpopular in a matter of days that many groups are avoiding them entirely. The dungeons are particularly long and many times harder than the other dungeons. This has already caused numerous memes in the World of Warcraft subreddit:
What will be changed? A whole series of changes are coming up with the maintenance work on Wednesday (08/10/2022). The problematic enemies will be nerfed and in some cases entire abilities will be eliminated.
The result of all these adjustments should be that dungeons that used to be too hard are now much easier to complete.
What do you think of the changes? Are these good and useful nerfs? Or were the dungeons not that difficult after all and everyone was just queuing?
