When does Season 4 start? The start time is 7:00 p.m. in Germany. Since no maintenance work has been announced, we assume that the season will simply be activated, but you don’t have to do anything else – except perhaps restart the game.

Season 4 starts and brings new content – tips and guides
Which class is best in Season 4? Thanks to the revisions, the necromancer has currently fought its way to the top in the tier list. Necromancers are no longer just the absolute top tier when it comes to leveling, they also shine in the end game with various builds.
If you’re starting out and want zombies and death magic, Necromancers are by far your best choice. Druids come directly after, but the classes are still very close to each other in the ranking. The best ones for leveling are probably:

This is still new: In Season 4, Loot becomes easier to understand. You have fewer affixes on the items, but they should fit your character better. In the endgame you then have the opportunity to customize your equipment via crafting.
You can apply new affixes to items with hardening and strengthen all affixes by completing them. So you basically build your own God Roll with a bit of luck. Here you can find our guide to hardening and completion in Season 4.
Trade will also improve. Everything can now be traded except for Uber Uniques and items bound through crafting. You can even make your own Uber Uniques. To get you started, we have prepared a few more guides and tips for you here:
If you’re playing Season 4, the best way to get through the entire game is with Hellfloods. Both for leveling and in the early endgame, you have the best chances of loot and experience points here.
Only later will the new dungeon Die Grube (“The Pit”) be the place you want to visit often. The dungeon works similarly to a Greater Rift from Diablo 4, you have to kill enough monsters in a limited time. As a reward there are crafting materials that you need to complete it.
You should also take part in events whenever you can. These, together with the pit, are the best way to get Whispering Oboluses and can usually be easily done at the same time, for example during hellfloods.
