Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone start Season 3 Reloaded on May 1st. Here you can get all the information about the midseason update and the content in an overview.

On May 1st, the reloaded update for Season 3 will arrive in CoD: MW3 and Warzone and brings a new weapon, two new multiplayer maps, new modes, new content for zombie mode and for Warzone. New weekly challenges and events are also coming to the game.

CoD MW3: Season 3 Reloaded – Update & Download

When will the update come? The update starts on May 1st at 6:00 p.m. German time on all platforms.

How big will the update be? It is not yet clear how big the update will be.

What’s in the update? The update for MW3 includes a new weapon, two new 6v6 maps for multiplayer, two new multiplayer modes, new events, new weekly challenges, new content for Warzone and zombie mode. You can expect the following things:

  • new weapon: BAL-27 (assault rifle)

    What’s coming for CoD MW3? Two new multiplayer modes, two new maps, new weekly challenges and events are planned:

  • two new modes for multiplayer:
  • “Minefield” is a new mode that brings explosive dynamics to multiplayer. Although the rules are the same as in the individual modes played, eliminated operators drop a proximity mine. The mine cannot be picked up and is therefore deadly.
  • In “Escort,” teams take turns accompanying a vehicle through the environment with the goal of hacking three points on the map. The vehicle only moves forward when an attacking operator is nearby and reverses when a defending operator approaches.
  • two new maps for multiplayer:
  • Grime is a new medium-sized multiplayer (6v6) map set in a deserted corner of London. Set in Grime’s waterfront district, you’ll fight in a graffiti-strewn hub, using murky waters and narrow alleys to gain an advantage against your enemies.
  • Many people will already know “Checkpoint” from Rebirth Island. The 6v6 version is a modified version of the map, with the upper corridors and control tower sealed off to move the combat to the ground.
    • “Grime” is a medium-sized 6v6 map.

  • In the “Vortex” event you can unlock 12 rewards by collecting XP. The event has been running since April 24th. There is also a Vortex playlist with map variants from Rust, Scrapyard, Quarry, Skidrow and Terminal that have a mystical sci-fi design.
  • The in-game event “Call of Duty Endowment (CODE)” will then start on May 8th for Military Appreciation Month.
  • new weekly challenges:
  • Season 3 Reloaded adds new weekly challenges in CoD: MW3, with which you can unlock additional aftermarket parts for various weapons.

    CoD Warzone & Zombie Mode: Season 3 Reloaded – Content

    What’s coming for Warzone? In Rebirth Island you can expect a change in the weather conditions in the midseason update, which is related to the increasing air raids. In addition, further items, events and features are added to the mode:

  • During the “Heavy Armor” event you can equip an additional armor plate and your hit points are increased from 150 to 200. This requires you to adapt your tactics accordingly, as this also increases the time-to-kill.
  • The new “Utility Box” is a combination of ammo and plate crate and can be found as floor loot and purchased at the purchase station.
  • In the “Weapon Trade Station” you exchange your weapons for a weapon of lower rarity and receive additional loot. This includes ammunition, money and equipment such as field upgrades, killstreaks and gas masks.
  • Foresight is a new killstreak that will reveal future gas circles in the game.

    • The bunkers in Warzone are also getting an update in Season 3 Reloaded and have rewards in store for curious teams who explore them.

    What’s coming for Zombie Mode? There is another story mission for the zombie mode in which you carry out a rescue operation. There will also be three new schemes that you can purchase for future missions. And a new warlord moves in – Rainmaker.

    You will find the new warlord in his fortress on the island of Rahaa in Urzikstan, where he is supported by an army that he is only too happy to use to destroy Operation Deadbolt. Be prepared for tough fights and traps.
