Search for missing 37-year-old Princeton man continues

Provincial police are asking residents to check their backyards, and outbuildings as the search continues for a missing 37-year-old Princeton man.

Gary left his residence on Township Road 2, Township of Blandford-Blenheim on foot at about 1:30 pm June 8. (Police do not release the last names of people reported missing.)

He was last seen near the railroad tracks in Princeton at Main Street North and Railway Street West and was reported missing to Oxford OPP at 10 pm June 8.

“We’re asking everyone in the community here in Princeton and the surrounding area to please check their buildings, their homes, their properties, their sheds, their garages for any signs of Gary,” Sgt. Ed Sanchuk, of West Region OPP said. “We had an opportunity to speak to family members and just put yourself in their shoes.

“We truly want to bring Gary home safely home to his family.”

Oxford OPP say there are serious concerns for Gary’s well-being.

Gary is described as being 6’2” tall, weighing 215 pounds. He has short black hair and scruffy facial hair. He has tattoos on his arms and back – a large tribal tattoo and was wearing camouflage shorts, a black t-shirt and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information about Gary, including video footage, is asked to call Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *677 (*OPP) from a cell phone. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit an online tip at www.oxfordcrimestoppers.com to become eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
