The former politician is charged with murder, breach of the peace and a serious gun crime, the Public Prosecutor’s Office writes in a press release.
The murder was committed in Nyköping. The other crimes have taken place in both Nyköping and Stockholm, according to the prosecutor.
In connection with his arrest, he resigned all political assignments and his membership was frozen, writes SVT.
