SD deletes 45 posts on social media after Kalla fakta’s disclosure.

But they do not intend to remove the anonymous accounts – something that L has demanded.

– We have not apologized for the way we work, says party secretary Mattias Bäckström Johansson.

The Tidö parties held a crisis meeting after Kalla fakta’s revelation about the Sweden Democrats’ communications department.

After a couple of hours the party secretaries came out and met the press.

The Sweden Democrats announce that they will delete 45 posts. But the anonymous accounts will remain.

– We do not have that ambition and have not apologized for the way we work, says party secretary Mattias Bäckström Johansson.

The Liberals have demanded that SD delete the accounts, but party secretary Jakob Olofsgård does not want to answer how they will proceed.

– It is serious that you say you can continue with such a method. It is something we have to think about, what consequences it can have with anonymous accounts. It affects democracy and the view of politics, and I find that extremely worrying.

When asked what consequences this should have for SD, Olofsgård says:

– It needs consequences. IF you drive too fast, you must stop driving too fast. I think people realize that they made a mistake in that regard and that they violated the Tidö Agreement and that they now say they must honor the Tidö Agreement. I welcome that.

M’s party secretary Karin Enström says, however, that SD apologized during the meeting.

“It was a sincere and constructive dialogue that will continue. It is good that SD has taken on board the criticism and is now taking steps to change the way their communications department works. They have also been offered an apology at our meeting,” she says in a comment to Aftonbladet.
