Twitch streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer says he is affected by current hacker attacks on content creators in EA FC 24. Instead of sympathy, however, the streamer mainly receives ridicule for his loss.
The FIFA successor EA FC 24 has apparently inherited one of the more unpleasant “traditions” of its predecessors: hacker attacks on major streamers, whose valuable accounts are wiped out. Last year, Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich, one of the biggest streamers in the football sim, was hit.
Several German content creators are currently being hit by hacking attacks again. But while one of the affected people’s comments on YouTube read primarily with compassion, the compassion for another victim is limited.
Many streamers spend real money on their “Ultimate Team”, which is initially gone in the event of a hacker attack.

Who got hit this time? The streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer (Twitch, Kick) announced on October 9, 2023 on X, formerly Twitter, that his account had been hacked. Apparently he put €6,000 into the game, which was over for him for now.
The streamer also announces that he wants to clarify the matter “in a nice way” with EA. If that’s not possible, he threatens to sue. He has experience with this, as Scurrows has already sued Twitch and TikTok after the platforms banned him. We have embedded his post for you here:
What are the reactions? They are mixed. While some are looking forward to a lawsuit, others are gloating. They comment on the post with “HAHA” in varying lengths or say things like “deserved” and “kiss the hacker’s heart” (via X).
One user even scoffs: “Do you sleep in the same bed as your lawyer?”
Why is Scurrows so unpopular? The streamer had fallen out of favor with many due to its casino content. After Twitch tightened its guidelines for showing gambling on the platform, Scurrows also attracted attention mainly through provocative statements.
