The Oscar favorite “Everything everywhere all at once” is steaming along like a train. On Sunday night, the film was awarded Best Original Screenplay at the Writers Guild Awards, which are organized annually by the Writers Guild of America (WGA).

This means a decent prelude to this week’s Oscars – the film has, among other things, been successful at the Screen Actors Guild, Producers Guild and Directors Guild recently.

“Everything everywhere all at once” is a science fiction film in which an exhausted Chinese woman must save the entire world by exploring parallel realities. It is nominated for Oscars in five different categories.
