SCIENCE & TECHNO 2022 PATENT SUBJECT. The 770,000 candidates in the general section of the 2022 college patent took the science and technology test this Friday afternoon. Discover the topics and answers of SVT and techno…
[Mis à jour le 1er juillet 2022 à 15h59] The answers are finally online and the 2022 patent is therefore over. Well almost. The science test, the last of the four end-of-school tests, took place this Friday, July 1, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for candidates for the general patent. It remains for some to validate a few orals and to wait for the patent results next week to go on vacation and discuss their future in high school. The last test scheduled for Friday was disrupted by the flight of subjects, denounced Thursday evening by the Ministry of Education. These are therefore the relief subjects that were submitted to college students for science and technology.
As a reminder, the science and technology certificate only concerns general patent students. Out of more than 855,000 candidates this year, 770,000 candidates therefore complied with the exercise this Friday, the 85,000 candidates for the professional patent being exempted. Another particularity: the science subjects for the college patent cover several very broad disciplines and only two are drawn for the exams each year. In 2022, it is thus the life and earth sciences and technology that were drawn by lot, while last year, the SVTs rubbed shoulders with physics and chemistry.
The answer key for the science test for the general series is also provided each year by our partner Studyrama as soon as specialized correctors have little access to the subjects and look into them. Check out the 2022 science patent answer key below to find out how a science teacher solved the test:
As every year, with our partner Studyrama, we make available all the subjects of the 2022 patent as soon as the copies have been unveiled by the Ministry of Education. As a reminder, the candidates are the only ones to know the science subjects at the start of the test, the subjects being communicated outside the examination rooms only after one hour. Here are the topics that were revealed a few minutes after the end of the 2022 event:
Corals as a subject of SVT, an eco-friendly robot as a subject of techno
In SVT this year, the subject of the patent thus focused on coral reefs threatened by the increase in the temperature of the surface waters of the oceans, due to global warming. Based on several documents, the candidates were asked to justify that the coral is a symbiotic association or to establish the link between the quantity of zooxanthellae (unicellular algae present in the coral) and the temperature of the sea water. dummy experiment from a dedicated document aimed to propose an experimental protocol to select corals resistant to a surface water temperature of 32°C. Finally, it was necessary to show how a change on a planetary scale can influence local biodiversity and human activities on Reunion Island.
The subject of technology for this 2022 patent related to a relatively similar theme: waste floating at sea, polluting the waters and intoxicating the animals. The study focused on a waste-collecting robot moving autonomously on water. Via an appendix in particular, it was necessary to specify the function of use of this robot or to cite three elements allowing to explain the importance of recycling the waste collected by this robot. It was also necessary to complete a diagram representing internal blocks using the terms “programmable interface”, “current measurement sensor”, “brightness sensor”, “battery”, “electric motors” and “propellers”. Another appendix invited the patent candidate to complete the “back to base” management program. A final document finally made it possible to calculate the mass of each material and then the quantity of greenhouse gas emissions, in order to determine the material to be used to make the robot’s shell.
The patent science test is graded each year out of 50 points (25 points per sub-subject), ie less than French and mathematics (100 points), but as much as history-geography. Up to 25 points are therefore up for grabs by students per subject. As a reminder, the patent is scored on a total of 800 points between continuous assessment, written and oral exams, the dates of which have been staggered according to the establishments until Friday July 1st. You must obtain an average of 400 points to obtain the national patent diploma (DNB) at the end of this course.
