The Marvels on Disney+: An entertaining science fiction blockbuster full of absurd ideas
The Marvels is primarily a sequel to the movie Captain Marvel, in which Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) becomes a superhero. In addition, the film picks up on the events of the Ms. Marvel series, in which the young Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) discovers her superpowers and protects the people of New Jersey.

Another name should not be forgotten: Monica Rambeau We last saw (Teyonah Parris) in WandaVision. She already appeared as a child in Captain Marvel. Now she suddenly switches places with Carol and Kamala. As soon as she uses her superpower, the three superheroines rotate, even between planets.
Carol was just fighting in space against a group of nasty villains when she finds herself in Kamala’s nursery again. Meanwhile, Kamala is floating above a space station, where Monica was supposed to be helping Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). And Monica finishes the fight that Carol started.
The Marvels is one of the most entertaining MCU films to date. He rushes forward at a rapid pace and lives from it chaotic dynamics of its three leading actresses. There is a lot of slapstick humor and other strange ideas to discover. Get ready for a musical sequence and lots of monster cats.
Without giving too much away: In the end, The Marvels will also be very important for the progression of the entire franchise. We are currently in the MCU in the middle of the Multiverse saga, which is set to culminate in Avengers 5 and 6. It is entirely conceivable that the next MCU film, Deadpool 3, will take up the events of The Marvels.
When will The Marvels be released as a stream on Disney+?
Unfortunately, The Marvels was a flop in the cinema. With a budget well beyond the $200 million mark, the film only managed to gross $195 million. He now gets a second chance at Disney+. From then on February 7, 2024 you can stream The Marvels with a subscription for the first time. Deadpool 3 hits the big screen in July.
