The Lair
According to our assessment from last year, the tough ripper shows off neat B-movie charm, which is expressed not only in the dirty dozen of soldier figures, but also in the mutants. The hearty splatter interludes don’t wear off and the horror remains in the film, partly because the action is relatively down-to-earth.
These are current horror movie alternatives
Those who don’t know what to do with The Lair can currently enjoy a mixture of Saw and Hunger Games in a deadly game with acid rain and lasers in a horror highlight on Netflix. One of the most brutal series ever has recently returned to Amazon Prime in a new form. Meanwhile, in Cannes, a new horror thriller proves why 90 minutes is the absolute best length of a movie.
You can now buy The Lair from Amazon and other retailers.
