(Finance) – The teaching staff of public schools you still have one day to submit mobility applications to be able to move location and make a professional transition from next September, therefore in the 2024/25 school year. The methods of operations, in which tens of thousands of permanent teachers are interested every year, are provided for by the Ordinance of 30 February and by the ministerial procedures, and are those that led to the start of the application procedures of the CCNI 2022/2025 which derive from the agreement on the mobility of school staff, also signed by Anief, which also produced the Integration signed on 21 February 2024.
If on the one hand those agreements have brought improvements compared to the past, on the other there is also a lot of bitterness. He remembers it today Marcello Pacifico, national president of Anief: “it weighs a lot and the legislator takes full responsibility for this – says the independent trade unionist – not having managed to introduce exceptions to the restriction for newly hired workers: our amendments to the 2024 budget law and to the Milleproroghe decree have not had an effect and without a change in the law our action during the negotiation did not have a positive outcome. Certainly, the fact that we managed to waive the restrictions in some particular situations (children up to 12 years old, 104 and caregivers) should be appreciated, with the commitment to do even better with the negotiations for the next three years”.
“We will continue to ask for room for change also in Parliament and we will already try with the PNRR decree, because – continues Marcello Pacifico – the harmonization between work and family needs cannot be strangled by constraints which, when proven by the facts, do not bring any benefit, not even to the educational continuity that is so much talked about, other than that of forcing tens of thousands of workers who have to bend over backwards to reconcile their professional life with their loved ones”.
