After a threat, classes were closed at Calmare International School during Friday.
– We have now investigated the circumstances and state that there is no longer any threat. A preliminary investigation is underway and interrogations will be held, says police spokesperson Robert Loeffel to SVT Nyheter Småland.
According to information to P4 Kalmar, a picture of a weapon and a request not to come to school have circulated among students.
– It was a very bad joke that had gone off the rails and of course there could be legal action, says the school’s vice president Mattias Mild to the radio.
Another school in the same building has also been kept closed.
