(Finance) – Green light from the Council of Ministers al Pa bis decree, with interventions in the school: the acceleration of the competition procedures for the recruitment of teachers in the context of the PNRR, the initial training of teachers, as part of the recruitment reform also envisaged by the PNRR, the strengthening of the administrative capacity of the Ministry of Education and Merit . New arrivals also for caged teachers, i.e. those teachers hired on a permanent basis who would like to change their role or level of education or specialize in support but without qualification for a common position, unable to do so due to the absence of a qualifying course.
The new regulations on qualifying courses affect the initial training of prospective teachers and the way courses are delivered. In particular – writes Orizzonte Scuola – “the numerical limit previously imposed on the number of qualified students for specific competition classes has been abolished”, therefore “there will no longer be restrictions on the number of teachers who can obtain qualification in a particular competition class” .
Several of the approved innovations were supported by the Anief trade union, starting with the simplification of the admission tests, the inclusion of tenured and precarious teachers in extraordinary competitions for courses for 30 credits in telematic mode, the increase in places to access qualifying courses with the elimination of the limit of places with respect to the rankings and through telematic attendance up to 50% of the course, the increase to 70% of the reserve of places to be allocated to precarious Catholic religion teachers with respect to the recruitment plan, the exhaustion of the rankings of suitable candidates in the last competition for the chair. Recruitments are also planned for the Ministry of University and Research.
“Our union – he says Marcello Pacifico, national president of Anief – notes that several points have been inserted at our specific request. Having said that, we will in any case ask for further changes to simplify the final status exam of the courses and the confirmation of entry into the role, as well as to reassure the activation of the enabling paths for precarious and permanent personnel in excess of the number programmed for the achievement of the 30 credits, but also to eliminate residual mobility constraints and to integrate the rankings of the last extraordinary competition”.
