(Finance) – Marcello Pacifico, national president of the Anief union, spoke in the in-depth broadcast organized by the specialized magazine La technique della scuola. During the live broadcast, the president of Anief stated that “from this January, as a result of the previous budget law, there will be monthly increases of 3.35%they will just be absorbed; from April there will be an additional 0.6% in contractual holiday allowance and from July further small increases. They are few: we should have 50% of inflation, we have activated a warning model. Today, those who work in schools earn 6,000 euros less than those who work in ministries, and that’s not good: it’s not possible to understand why staff were valued more highly 15 years ago.”
Regarding the year 2013, he said that “there is a ruling from the Supreme Court which tells us that the year is valid for pension purposes but we must appeal, because the law has not changed. The appeal is necessary: like Anief we thought of a calculator that tells us how many arrears are already due”.
Regarding mobility, the leader Anief continued by saying that “constraints have been reintroduced that are linked to educational continuity and removing them would mean going against the Pnrr. We are trying to stem these constraints with laws that protect disabilities, the family and therefore children up to 12 years of age: all these elements are included as exceptions”, concluded the independent trade unionist.
