The threat was called in to one of the teachers at the school and after discussions the municipality’s security department made the decision to keep the school closed.
– When such threats come in, it is the school and the municipality that decide to stay closed, but we will definitely be involved, says Oscar Öste, commander of the police region East to TT.
On the municipality’s website it is stated that the school has taken all the security measures they can and that no threat has been directed against another school in the municipality. More information will be given to parents and guardians via the website.
