If at the national level, the return of students, whether at school, college or high school, will take place on Monday, September 2, 2024, among the 12 million children returning to school, some of whom Establishments located near the venues of the Paralympic Games taking place in Paris from August 28, 2024 to September 8, 2024 will have their school year adjusted, due to traffic restrictions and security measures.
According to the rectorate, 91 schools in the Paris Academy located in zone C are impacted. Of these, 44 are located in the blue or red zone and 47 are located near these zones. Schools will also be affected in the Paris suburbs, in cities that host Olympic sites such as Clichy-sous-Bois or Saint-Denis in Seine-Saint-Denis (93) where students will have classes in another school in their city. The Hauts-de-Seine department (92) will also be impacted because it is crossed by some heavily overloaded public transport.
