With The School for Good and Evil, this week celebrated one of the biggest Netflix movies of the year its premiere. The fantasy blockbuster takes us into a magical world where young people are trained to become heroes and villains. At the center of the story are two best friends.
Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) end up in the eponymous school at the beginning of the story. Although Sophie would give anything to become a princess, she finds herself in the circle of evil again, while Agatha has to submit to the good against her will.

Based on this premise, an exciting conflict arises before the boundaries between good and evil gradually blur. What initially seems clearly and distinctly separated from each other reveals more and more dark sides. But how does the story continue? That Foundation for part 2 has already been laid.

“I need you, Agatha!”announces a magic arrow in the final seconds of The School for Good and Evil, which can only mean that Sophie and Agatha will return to the school’s mysterious halls. Soman Chainani wrote the story for this return long ago.
Chainani is the author of The School for Good and Evil series, which is based on the Netflix film of the same name. In a total of six books tells the adventures of Sophie and Agatha between the forces of good and evil. There is therefore plenty of material for further sequels to the fantasy film adaptation.

When does The School for Good and Evil 2 start on Netflix?
Whether The School for Good and Evil 2 gets the green light on Netflix depends on the performance of the first part. Of the Started at #1 on the Netflix weekend charts is a good sign. Director Paul Feig has also indicated several times in interviews that he is interested in filming Volume 2. If Netflix decides quickly, the sequel could arrive as early as 2024.
