The school employee was arrested and detained at the end of March 2024, then suspected of child pornography offenses and exploitation of children for sexual posing.
Since then, the investigation has grown, and today the man is being remanded in custody on suspicion of several serious crimes.
In total, there are eight cases of rape against children and five cases of sexual abuse against children.
The man has been employed at an F-6 school in eastern Blekinge for several years.
The principal at the school does not want to confirm whether it is students at the school who are affected.
– However, we have taken measures. During Easter, we started preparing to receive the children after the holidays, we have had contacts on site from the police, social services and support teams, says the principal.
The man has previously stated that he neither admits nor denies crime.
