(Finance) – The Maneuver 2025 provides for an allocation intended for contractual increases in the public sector for the two three-year periods 2025/2027 and 2028/2030 and for the advance financing on payroll of the expected increases: of 0.6% from next April 1st and 1% from July 1st 2025. Furthermore, there are 386 million for specification valorisation of school staff in the three-year period 2025/2027.
Article 19 which contains rules for the renewal of contractsif on the one hand it does not add further resources to the three-year contractual period that is about to expire (2022/2024), as requested by the unions, on the other hand it finances the next two three-year contractual years by preparing overall increases of 600 euros by 2030 for public employees; the goal is to recover the “splash” of inflation recorded (+16 points) in the last three years, net of what has already been financed for the three-year period 2022/2024 (+5.78%).
“The average annual increase between 2024 and 2030 if all the contracts were signed it would be really negligible: it is clear that if these are the conditions, the union Anief confirm the need to send a warning to unlock the current contractual holiday identitya ‘parachute’ treatment unfortunately still stuck at 0.5% (10 euros per month on average set out in the 2022 budget law) against the increase in inflation of 16% and the 50% foreseen by current legislation”, states the President of the union Marcello Pacifico.
“Our trade union association asks for it release of 8 billion for the contractual holiday allowancethe advance of the monthly increases of 150 euros from January 1stmore 3 thousand euros relating to arrears. Only in this way could we start talking about fair pay”, concludes the trade unionist.
