The alarm came in shortly after 4 a.m. and when the emergency services arrived at the scene, the fire had engulfed a third of the school building, writes The Express.
An Important Public Notice (VMA) has gone out asking everyone in the area to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation.
Four fire stations are on site to extinguish the fire, which is expected to be under control by 10 o’clock on Monday morning at the earliest.
— When we arrived, the school building was fully on fire. We are now working at the site with four fire stations and two extra management sections, says Per Tillander, officer on duty at Södertörn’s rescue service, to Aftonbladet.
— We hope to save two-thirds of that building.
There is no information on injuries or how the fire started.
