(Finance) – The interministerial decree which opens the door to TFA support VIII cycle: available over 29,000 seats to attend the courses prepared by the Italian universities and thus achieve, by 30 June 2024, the specialization for support for students with disabilities for the 2022-2023 school year.
Numbers that result twice of those prepared 4 years ago, when the union Anief had challenged the violation of the law, but that are still insufficient compared to the needs and unreasonably distributed among universities.
The decree also provides for a significant reserve amount for access to specialization courses, which will mainly concern i precarious workers who have completed 36 months of service on support in the past five years.
The law invoked by Anief should have allow direct access but it was interpreted by the administration as a reserve of places to access the courses after the selection. There remains the possibility always obtained from Anief to do direct access to the written tests (without preselection) the temporary workers. The pre-selective testsfor the other aspirants, will take place from 4 to 7 July 2023.

As a union we continue to ask for a increase considerable number of accesses to courses according to the needs of each province. There must be a total of 90,000 within the next year compared to the 54,000 activated in this two-year period. It is worth remembering that in Northern Italy only 4,000 places will specialize in support at the end of this training cycle. It’s absurd if we think that almost three-quarters of the jobs are concentrated in the northern regions”.
“Anief will not stand by – warns the trade unionist – shortly, will appeal the tender which goes against the actual territorial needs as well as ignoring direct access to the courses of precarious workers with more than 36 months of service: the union intends to protect those who will be excluded from the selection and participation in the specialization course”.
