The singer made his television debut in 1967 after being discovered by music producer Mats Olsson. The following year, Hederström won the Melody Festival with the song “Det vaude verka kärlek banne mig”, and finished fifth in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Two years ago, he was inducted into Melodifestivalen’s Hall of Fame.
Claes-Göran was 77 years old.
