On Sunday evening, Scheperkamp flies back to the Netherlands, so he had a day to celebrate winning the European title in Hamar, Norway. “We are still in the middle of the skating season, so I have not celebrated it extensively. I went out for a nice dinner with my parents and sister,” says the member of the Zeist skating association. “We toasted it with a glass of champagne with the team.”
