Who always wanted to see a superhero movie where the main character eventually ends up on a USB stick, Lucy should look. Léon’s Blockbuster – Professional director Luc Besson sends Marvel star Scarlett Johansson into a crazy mix of sci-fi, action, superhuman powers, drug trip and Discovery Channel documentary about the origins of mankind, the earth and the animal kingdom (! ).

It was recently announced that the box office hit will be continued as a series. The spin-off was, however with a big hook announced.

Lucy should continue as a series without the biggest star

In late October 2022, Variety reported that a Lucy spin-off series starring Morgan Freeman was in development. In the 2014 film, he starred as a professor and a kind Mentor for the protagonist to see.

Until now are since then no further info or details on the planned Lucy spin-off been announced. It remains to be seen whether Johansson will at least make a small cameo appearance or whether the series will come out of the sci-fi hit completely without the biggest star.
