Over the weekend, Marshall took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the milestone. “That’s a wrap” (“We’re done.”), he writes and posts his picture of a hat with the Jurassic World logo. In the past few weeks he has been regularly reporting on X with updates about the shoot.

Filming for Jurassic World: Rebirth started on June 13, 2024 and stretched over the summer. Filming took place in London, Thailand and Maltawhere Jurassic World: A New Age was recently hosted. The material shot is now going into post-production before the finished film is released in cinemas next year.
The plot of Jurassic World: Rebirth begins five years after the last part and tells of Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), one Expert in top secret operations. This is exactly what she is supposed to lead in order to secure valuable DNA from dinosaurs. Because they are dying out again.
As it turns out, despite their massive first appearances, the dinosaurs were unable to adapt to our world’s ecosystem. Scientists now want to collect as much information about the genome as possible before the second extinction to create a drugwhich is said to perform miraculous healings.
The story was thought up by David Koepp, who wrote the scripts first two Jurassic Park films by Steven Spielberg. Responsible for the production is Gareth Edwards, who is very familiar with monsters, franchises and blockbusters thanks to Godzilla, Rogue One and The Creator.
When does Jurassic World 4 start in cinemas?
We still have to wait nine months until Jurassic World: Rebirth comes to the cinema. If everything goes according to plan, the film will start on July 2, 2024 in German cinemas. In addition to Scarlett Johansson, the cast includes Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Jonathan Bailey (Wicked) and Rupert Friend (Asteroid City).
