The convict Maurice Hastings, who was thought to have killed a woman named Roberta Wydermyer, who was the victim of a brutal murder in the USA in 1983 and who has been in prison for 38 years, was found not guilty. Hastings was freed thanks to a DNA test. Making a statement after his release, Hastings said, “I don’t blame anyone, I just want to enjoy life while I have it.”
