ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN RELEASED DUE TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT CAUSED BY REACTIONS
While the announcement drew the reaction of Turkish citizens, a statement came from the hospital management. In the written statement made by the hospital, it was noted that the aid campaign was not organized by the hospital and said, “The announcement is not an official letter of our university hospital. The text in question is taken from an e-mail in the internal correspondence. We are very sorry for the misunderstanding.”
In the continuation of the statement, information was given about the activities of the hospital on the subject.
“Currently expired but fully functional, high-quality and original packaged materials such as bandages, gastric tubes or catheters are collected at hospital stations. These materials, which are clearly stated that they do not contain any drugs, are transferred to some initiatives to support crisis areas. Materials that have not expired and materials necessary for patient care cannot be given to third parties by the hospital. (UAV)
