During the previous weekend, Börje Salming was honored in the SHL, SDHL and Hockeyallsvenskan.
The leagues decided to donate SEK 1,000 per goal scored to Börje Salming’s ALS foundation.

In addition to that, the leagues also auctioned specially produced Börje Salming pucks which were then signed by the respective match winners. Those pucks were auctioned for a total of SEK 63,185.

How many goals were scored in round 21 then? Well, in total there were 137 goals, which meant a donation of SEK 137,000 to the foundation. Combined with the auction of the pucks, it was SEK 200,185 from the SHL, SDHL and Hockeyallsvenskan.

“Incredibly impressive”

But it is not enough there. In addition to the roughly 200,000 kroner, the same amount, plus a little more, came in via Swish from all over hockey Sweden, which made the final sum amount to 471,142 kroner.
