Savon Sanomat’s sources say that Elisa Holopainen, the intensive player of the Kiekko-Espoo Finnish Championship gold team, will return to KalPa next season.
Holopainen, who celebrated the Finnish championship in the Kiekko-Espoo team, was the most effective player in the playoffs. In 12 matches, the power points were 29 (19 + 10).
In the regular season, 20-year-old Holopainen was second on the points exchange with 29 + 27 = 56 power points. Holopainen also won an Olympic bronze in a tournament played in Beijing.
Holopainen’s visit to Kiekko-Espoo lasted for one season. He already played at KalPa for five seasons before moving to Espoo.
