Pay your tax arrears today – avoid interest

If you receive back taxes of more than SEK 30,000, and want to avoid interest, you need to act as soon as possible and pay the amount that exceeds SEK 30,000.

The cost interest for your back taxes started ticking on February 13, and is then calculated day by day. On August 1, 2023, the interest rate was also increased to 5 percent.

For back taxes of less than SEK 30,000, the latest date to pay that amount is May 4, if you want to avoid interest.

The payment to the tax account can be made with Swish or as a regular payment via bank giro.
