SAS: Will stop flying home stranded charter tourists

The SAS pilots will, from Sunday, stop flying home charter tourists who are stranded during the strike, the pilot union announces in a press release, signed Martin Lindgren, chairman of SAS Pilot Group:

“SPG members have during the weekend contributed to flying passengers home, but SAS has not respected us as a counterparty, which means that we have to end the departures for charter flights after the last flight today, Sunday 10 July.”

Hours before the announcement, the Norwegian SAS pilot association announced that it had had a so-called status meeting with the mediators in Stockholm.
