SAS is canceling 1,700 departures in September and October as a result of the summer pilot strike, reports the Danish industry magazine Check-In.
However, this is not due to reduced demand. According to SAS Denmark’s press manager Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji, it is connected to the summer pilot strike. This has consequences for the staffing situation in the coming months.
This could mean delayed aircraft deliveries to SAS Link, which in turn affects the company’s capacity. Domestic and European routes will also be affected in the autumn.
