NHLs hottest team beat Juuse Saros again with a clean

The Nashville Predators and goalkeeper Juuse Saros have signed a significant contract extension. Goalkeeper Kaapo Kähkönen moves to Winnipeg, defender Jani Hakanpää to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

NHL ice hockey club Nashville Predators and a Finnish goaltender Juuse Saros29, have signed an eight-year, $61.92 million contract that runs through the 2025-26 season.

Saros makes an average of $7.74 million per season.

CEO of the Nashville Predators Barry Trotz proudly announced the long contract of his credit player.

– This young man has proven himself to be one of the best goalkeepers in the NHL. Juuse’s competitiveness and work ethic will help him continue to build a solid foundation for the success he has already enjoyed as our club’s starting goalkeeper, Trotz beamed.

Saros made 35 saves in the last regular season with a save percentage of 90.6. The season was his third consecutive NHL season with at least 30 wins.

Saros was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.

The Winnipeg Jets announce that they have signed a goaltender Kaapo Kähkönen27, to a one-year, $1 million deal for his crew.

Kähkönen was traded at the end of the season to the New Jersey Devils, where he played six games. Before that, he represented the San Jose Sharks and the Minnesota Wild.

Kähkönen is a fourth-round NHL draft pick of the 2014 Minnesota Wild.

Defender Jani Hakanpää trade the Dallas Stars jersey for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 32-year-old right-shooting Finnish defender signed a two-year contract, earning 1.5 million per season.

Last season, Hakanpää played 64 matches in the regular season, where he scored 2+10=12.

Tampa Bay Lightning reported on new player recruitments. Forward who played in Montreal Jesse Ylönen signed a one-year, $0.775 million two-way contract.

In the finished NHL season, Ylönen played 59 regular season games for the Canadiens, where he collected 4+4=8 points.

Tampa’s other three acquisitions were defensemen; Tobie Paquette-Bisson, Derrick Pouliot, Steven Santini.
