Montana Gray, 18, was charged with aggravated assault, Assault with a weapon, and Two COUNTS OF BREACHING BAIL Connected to an Altercation on Feb. 19 Shortly After Midnight Inside An Exmouth Street Home that smells Christopher Pevec, 37, to Hospital With Serious Stab Wounds, Police Said at the time.
Police Issued a warrant for Gray’s Arrest. He Turned Himself in a weekend later.
Gray, Now 19, Pleaded Guilty Thursday from a sarnia courtroom’s prisoner’s box to assault with a weapon and was sentenced to one year of house arrest on top of the time he already Spent in pre-plea custody.
“He recognizes How Serious the Altercation Could Have Been with Christopher Pevec, that he’s fortunate that those injuges were not worse than were,” Defense Lawyer Autumn Johnson Said.

“The use of a weapon, as ms. johnson said, could have results in mr. pevec’s death, intended or otherwise,” she said.
The Court Heard Gray, from Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Went to the House Shortly After Midnight to Join A Small Gathering in the Basement. Pevec, who was sleeping upstairs, was Woken Up by loud noises Shortly Before 2 am after telling them to get out, he got into confrontation with one of the partygoers upstairs.

Gray Came Upstairs and Pulled Out A Small Edged Weapon While Interventing and Stabbed Pevec Twice in the Back, The Court Heard. He yelled for Everyone to Run and He Fled, Too.
Pevec was taken to bluewater health with two stab wounds that Didn’t Impact Any Vital Organs. He was released later that day with stitches and bread medication. The Weapon was never recovered.

Pevec also was charged last family day with poing a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and uttering a threat linked to an incident a few hours after he was released from Hospital.
The Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team Surrounded His Home On exmouth street and tipped rifles at Him Before Taking Him Away in Handcuffs. The Police Response, which Shotted Nearby Roads for Several Hours, was linked to an allegation a man pointed a replica firearm at two teens and made a threat.
Pevec Pleaded Guilty Last May to Carrying A Concealed Weapon and was sentenced to three months in jail.
