Traquair was charged in November after a suspicious person probe in Corunna, provincial police have said.
Lambton OPP officers responding to a report of two suspicious people at a Cameron Street home Nov. 7, assisted by OPP West Region emergency response and dog teams, arrested two people at a nearby home, police said.
Traquair and another Sarnia man, 23, were charged with break and enter with intent and released with court dates, police said.
Traquair was previously sentenced to one year in jail in 2022 for walking past multiple Sarnia restaurants and through a mall parking lot with what appeared to be two semi-automatic rifles and a tactical vest. The weapons turned out to be paintball guns, but stirred real fear in the area and drew a major police response, the prosecutor said at the time.
Part of his sentence was also for stealing security cameras and damaging brackets and wiring at the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre. Before the devices were cut down, a urinating Traquair looked directly into the camera, giving police a clear image of his face.
Traquair, a high school dropout who went to three city schools, told the judge in 2022 he planned to move away from the area with his mother.
