Starr, 65, said she checked her ticket on an OLG app the morning after the draw.

“I saw ‘Big Winner’ and thought, ‘no way,’” she said. “I had to scan it three more times to be sure. I still didn’t believe it.”

Starr said it was her first big lottery win. The ticket was purchased at Metro on London Road.

“I love to travel, so perhaps I’ll plan a trip with family and friends,” she said.
