This is Habitat’s Fourth Year as Part of Coldest Night of the Year, A National Fundraiser for Charities Serving Vulnerable People.

About 150 Participants and 30 Teams WEE SIGNED UP As of Monday and donations are at the Halfway Point of the $ 60,000 Goal, Said Angela Kirkland, Fund Development Manager with the Affordable Housing Charity.

“The Money Really Starts Flowing in the Last Two Weeks,” Said Charity Chief Executive David Waters. “Sarnia has generally been slow to the finish line,” based the charity’s experience.

Five and Two-Km Coldest Night of the Year Walks for Habitat Will Begin and End at the Polish Hall on Exmouth Street, with registration set to begin at 4 pm

Sarnia’s River City Vineyard is also Holding A Coldest Night of the Year Walk That Day to Raise Funds for Its Homeless Shelter. Information about the walks can be found online at cnoy.org.

COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR IS “A big part of our fundraising Every YEAR,” Waters Said. “If we can get to $ 60,000, we’ll be extremely happy.”

Habitat invited a few of the walk’s sponsors to tour one of Two Homes on Gray Crescent in Sarnia that are just a few Weeks Away from Being Turned out to their new families.

Construction of Two Homes on Gray Crescent in Sarnia Has Gone Well, He Said.
